Journal Entry no.1
Make no mistake, I am insane. I take four different medications for my mental health; an anti-psychotic, a mood stabilizer, an antidepressant and an SSRI. I suffer from bipolar disorder type II, which is the type that makes you hate the world by the slightest inconvenience. I feel like I experience the world completely different from a sane person, or more accurately, I can tell there’s something offensively wrong with reality and need meds to null my senses. This looming malaise is like mercury in the pipes, it poisons your brain, fucking up the chemistry. Psychiatry as an institution is just a system set in place to remedy the after effects of such a fucked up existence that, if questioned, will get you labeled a lunatic; another victim of a socialist, atheist, and hysterical conspiracy you made up cause you’re just such a fucking looser.

Report Analysis
Subject seems “off his fucking rockers” as quoted by the Head Journalist. Confounding the enlightened with the insane is indicative of an intense narcissism and a sign of an utterly miserable existence. It is well known that patients with personality disorders often fail to take medication properly; this leads to the feeling that they are, in fact, more aware, less blunted by the meds and therefore confident that they could diagnose the ill feeling that permeates their lives. However, this is just a bout of fallacious gobbledygook. We often lack the foresight to make decisions about our life. This is why it’s important that we curate our immediate milieux; make anchors of our most trusted friends, and if possible, family. To them it is obvious that you skipped a few too many doses and might require the proper support to get back on track. Set up concrete contingencies that take into account your worst impulses. In such delicate states we don’t have time to think, so it is important that you trust them. Faith will guide you, not in God, but in yourself. God’s speed.
